It's all about the community vibe. There are great schools, safe neighborhoods, and so many kid-friendly activities, from beach days to hiking adventures. Plus, its really stroller friendly since without that for new families, you're stuck.

It definitely can be. Investing is a case by case you know. With Poipu being in the VDA, it opens the door to short-term rental income, plus the year-round sunshine makes it a compelling and popular destination. Surely there are some great investment deals down there.

Poipu Beach is unbeatable for families, but I also love Shipwreck Beach—it's a bit more rugged and perfect for sunrise walks.

The Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail is incredible. It feels like you've discovered a hidden slice of paradise, and it offers stunning views of the coastline.

Without a doubt, it's Waiohai. This reef break in front of the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club offers beautiful, peeling rights, and it's a local favorite. When the conditions line up, it's nothing short of magic—just you, the crystal-clear water, and the perfect wave.

Oh easy one for me. It's hard to beat the Kukui'ula Golf Course. The ocean views, immaculate fairways, and the laid-back vibe make it a world-class experience. Plus, the comfort stations are world class.
What are your favorite food spots in Poipu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
I typically skip breakfast, but for lunch, it's hard to beat a classic burger at Bubba's. There's something about a burger and fries after a morning surf that just hits the spot. When it's time to really unwind for dinner, I head to Red Salt. The ambiance, the food make it the perfect place to end the day.
